On the Hayloft
When the Storchenhof was a farm, there were cattle stables on the ground floor of the hay barn. On the floor above the hay was stored. The rooms have been newly constructed and arranged with lovely details. For example the floor is tiled with Burgundy natural stone, there are Persian rugs and a circular marble table by Lambert for eating and playing. The spacious balcony with a view of the garden, meadow and the Black Forest in the back provides a place to enjoy a glass of wine or the breakfast in the morning sun. In addition our shady courtyard is available for our guests to relax.
The apartment is fully equipped. It comes with a modern built-in kitchen, two separate bedrooms (160 cm and 180 cm beds) for two persons each as well as a comfortable bathroom with an additional WC. In the living room a convenient daybed provides two additional places to sleep. The apartment benefits from under-floor heating, and for those rare cold days a woodstove provides warm and cosy atmosphere.
